Achievement progress not tracking

It IS NOT fixed. The service alert has been removed but my 100% progress achievements remain locked as do my basic story achievements from Dead Rising 3 dlc.

 

This issue is not fixed. If i am just SOL I am gonna be really upset.

 

I haven't been able to unlock achievements for two days now on the Xbox one. Is it the same on the 360?

 

This is the same with me I now have 3 achievements in the last 2 day which has stuck at 100%

 

So here's something I just tried, no thanks to support since it was all worthless information from them. I've been missing the achievement EXIT SIMULATION - beat the heroes of the fleet campaign in Strike Suit Zero for a week now. After online chats with
support and them just telling me what I want to hear, lying to me, and making me 'troubleshoot' I decided to try something on my own. Hopefully this will work for you but you may be disappointed with the approach I took to do it.

So first of all I have beat that damn game over 10 times to no avail and had been thinking about doing this since yesterday but didn't want to until I had enough time to finish it.

BEFORE WE BEGIN, LET ME START WITH I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BROKEN CONTROLLERS, THROWN CONSOLES, OR ANYTHING ELSE RELATED TO YOU USING THIS SOLUTION AND GETTING MAD OVER. IT WORK FOR ME SO I'M JUST SHARING AND HOPING IT HELPS YOU

1. Sign in to your profile on the Xbox One.

2. Go to My Games & Apps.

3. Press the 'Start' button on the game giving you trouble.

4. Go to manage game.

5. Move to the right and select your saved data.

6. (This is where it'll make you cry depending on the game you were playing) Delete everywhere. This deletes it from your console as well as the cloud.

7. Start all over.

Another possible solution that I have not tried that may work and may even be a better solution depending on if your game gets saved to the cloud or not:

1. Sign in to your profile on the Xbox One.

2. Go to settings

3. Network

4. Select Go Offline. This will disconnect your connection to the internet obviously.

2. Go to My Games & Apps.

3. Press the 'Start' button on the game giving you trouble.

4. Go to manage game.

5. Move to the right and select your saved data.

6. Delete From Console.

7. Start all over and then reconnect to the internet.

(Again I'm not sure how this would work but your more then welcome to give this ago.)

Hope it helps. If you played a long gruesome game and got a retardly hard achievement I would suggest waiting to see if other people who may be more determined or have easier achievements comment/like/verify if this works for them. Obviously if your game
started to give you achievements again and you missed something like 'Complete Chapter 3' or something simple just finish the game first and then at the end go back and get it so your not entirely wasting your time.

 

It seems like xbox doesn't care to fix this for people that it is still affecting (like me) and I've started to think that there is no hope for me ever unlocking my achievements without starting my games over again. I simply do not have enough time to restart
every game of mine that has been affected by this, which is quite a lot, and I don't think that trick of deleting all data will even work for games such as titanfall or call of duty ghosts extinction mode. And even if it does, am I expected to put in the hundreds
of hours I have already put into those games, just to get back to where I was and hope that it is going to even fix the problem? Every time someone from xbox support says anything on this issue, it is always that it is fixed or that the achievements will unlock
after some time, but that's a flat out lie, because I have had trouble with games that I have only just started playing after they announced that it has been fixed. The main reason I chose the xbox one was because I loved the achievement system in the 360
and was excited to hear it was being improved upon for this next generation, and what a disappointment it has been, especially now.

 

@ RecklessCorgi I'm just offering a possible solution. It's up to you if you want to use it. I know the way Xbox Support has handled this has been extreme awful and Xbox needs to totally revamp this crap structure they have in place.

Here's to hoping they implement a better fix then the one that worked for me.

 

The first solution also worked for my friend, Concludedfever9 who was missing Fairily Complete - Completed all Hallelujah Hollow levels. This unlocked after he completed mission 4. He had been stuck at 90% even after clearing all missions multiple times.

Second solution is still unconfirmed.

 

UPDATE: 1st solution has been confirmed to work twice now. 2nd solution is a no go. I'm assuming it has to do with the cloud syncing nullifying you local save.

 

@McQueen- it worked for me on Ryse, Crimson Dragon and Guacamelee

Also- last night I started forza 5 for the first time and upon starting it synched to cloud- the cheevo for beating first race did not pop so I deleted saves (local/cloud) and upon restarting the game it popped normally.

The cloud saves are definitely *** up something- it's the fourth game I have noticed it in.

My advice is when starting a game first time play with achievements snapped- if the counters don't act normally right away or the first achievement in the game (usually easy) does not unlock, delete all saves and start over- this has been fixing the issue
for me-

UPDATE: This method WILL work on the 100% achievements BUT you will have to do ALL the requirements for that achievement/s again. I've had
a friend try it and it work on their 60 Second Shooter achievements. Again I would suggest NOT using this method if you have invested a huge chunk of time into a few achievements of said game like Rayman. Hope this helps.

 

McQueen, what about online achievements like ghosts extinction and titanfall dlc? Those are stuck for me but they aren't a game save, purely online achievements

 

@LanceX2 I have doubts about it working for an online game like Titanfall due to in not actually saving on any xbox or cloud server. It saves with respawn. Just like COD Extinction saves with Activision.

Respawn has tweeted there will be a fix soon so you may wanna wait.

 

Yeah I did the restart on games that wouldn't take too much time, and it worked for those for me. The only games I have now with glitches achievements I still need are battlefield 4 (I might do that on this one too as it's only campaign achievements that
didn't pop for me), trials fusion which I'm not restarting because I have worked so hard on those track challenges, and then titanfall and cod extinction, both of which like you said that trick wouldn't work for anyway. Here's to hoping that xbox can fix these
things, that's the only way I'll be getting the rest of my locked achievements

 

I had 3 achievements stuck on Crimson Dragon, they was all story based. They was my last 3 needed to complete this game.

I did the delete save thing and started again. I did all the requirements for that achievement/s again and it worked, they popped Shame I lost my original save, but glad to finally get it completed.... thank you.
