Achievement Progress Gone

All of the green bars indicating my progress in all games is suddenly gone. It appeared for a moment and a challenge I completed said "Done! Unlocking" and it didn't unlock and the progress is gone again in all games. Please help.

It's up to the developers to support this feature. So not all games will show progress towards an achievement being earned.

I remember snapping the achievements and there would be a progress bar undereath it to tell me how close i was to getting it. None of my achievements are doing this anymore yet my friends say theirs are?!

None of us are in the programme.

 

Same here and same for my friend. It seems the whole achievement system crashed... AGAIN!

 

Why is this still a problem? The achievements are part of the system itself so shouldn't it be safeguarded like the hardware. It is almost like no one cares.

Same here and I just started playing AC unity and now none of the achievements I should have gotten unlocked. I completed sequence 1 but the achievement for it is still just locked. Cmon Microsoft - this is what we paid 500 bucks for and u still can't even
keep the basics running smoothly. Sorry - just frustrated cuz now I don't know if I'll get credit for those once they fix the problem or am I going to have to play thru that part of the game again?

 

This is very annoying. Been on 360 for close to 7 years and not one problem. I get my X1 2 weeks ago and found out I couldn't get achievements offline, now even online I run into this problem where all of my achievement progress is reset to 0. Why cant it
be as functional as the 360? I really hope they get back to basics because this always online integration of basic features is messed up.

 

Is it still going on for everyone? The problem hasn't been resolved for me.

 

My suggestion is not to play if you are an achievement hunter, because it may force you to replay all those achievements again to get them. The achievement system has crashed again, and as far as the system is concerned, you aren't making any progress because
it cannot verify them . The achievement app is online verification, and apparently the system is down that verifies them right now. If history serves as any precedent, Microsoft never ran an achievement sweep to pop locked achievements for over 3 months.
They claimed 24 to 48 hours, but that system was broken. Not until the boards here filled up with complaints, did they finally take players seriously about achievements not popping ( They got caught in a lie telling people they would pop in 2 days, when
it was really out of hand.) They manually ran an achievement sweep around late July and all of a sudden, thousands upon thousands of achievements for people all across the lands popped when people logged on that weekend. Their system is horrible, and they
tell false information about the fact they will pop when these outages occur. If you are an achievement hunter, I would just be safe, and wait till its fixed. no harm in that. From personal experience, I had achievements stuck for 2 months, until they ran
that manual sweep late July.

It is weird the progress comes and goes.

 

The achievement still won't pop though.

 

achievements are just not unlocking for me at the moment, i have yet to see achievement progress to reset. I hope this does not happen to me. (although if it does, im sure MS can restore those). but i have about 5 achievements in the MCC that are just stuck
at "unlocking". A bit unfortunate as i wanted to play halo today. but if achievements a bugged, im not going to risk losing even more progress.

 

The progress is showing, but now they are not unlocking. This is a joke...
