    Achievement notification gone


    The achievement notification hasn't been popping for a week now ever since the new update. Every time I hard reset/power cycle my console an achievements will unlock and give me the notification like it's supposed to, but when I turn the console off and
    back on the next day achievements are not popping like they should be. The achievements themselves are unlocking, I'm just not getting the notifications.

    XB1 Achievement notifications gone?

    The achievements are unlocking when I go into the achievement apps, but I'm just not getting the notifications when they unlock. I know it's superficial problem and doesn't ruin anything but is there a fix to this somewhere? I've done a hard reset holding
    down the poor button, also shutting it down pulling the power cord out of the console for 5 minutes but still hasn't fixed the problem. Any advice would be welcome thanks in advance! =)

    Go to Settings>Preferences and the notifications you want to make sure are still on are "Gaming & System". If it's off, turn them back on and that should fix it for you.

    No Achievements??

    You can earn achievements during the free to play promotion.

    Are you connected to the internet and XBL? Have you gone into the achievement list to see if the notifications just aren't showing for you?

    They're achievement notifications? That's... why did they make them achievement notifications?

    I guess I'm fine disabling all achievement notifications, but my preference would have been to disable this one very annoying, very prolific notification.
