Achievement not unlocking in Age of Empires: CS (Windows 10)

I started up Age of Empires: Castle Siege on Windows 10 after completing it on WP. All but 1 achievement unlocked.

Over the Walls - Unlock the Catapult from the Siege Workshop - 40GS

There is no way to start the game over. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it on my phone and 2 different PC's. I have upgraded it to see if that does anything in game, but to no avail. I have contacted the makers of the game and they say it is xbox related
and not on their end.

What does it say in-game? (Not in your Xbox Live profile outside the game, but in the game's own sub-menus.)

If the achievement still shows as locked in-game then there might be a way to trigger it, but if in-game it shows as unlocked (but locked in your Xbox Live profile) then things get a little trickier usually.

i have same problem 0/1000 Gamerscore but in the game it also say's 0/20 but after Achievements it say's complete and i unlocked another today and same deal it should say i'm on 280 out of a thousand and i message Age of Empires Support they got back to
me and i told them what happened now they seemed to be ignoring it guess i will ask for a refund of that $1.19 cents for that gold i bought plus Tax, i been playing this game up to Age 6 and no achievements have popped, but i went through my achievements and
found a older version of it where it only went to 200 and i had 85 on that maybe thats the problem

So why has this achievement not synced yet? This is all that needs to happen for it to unlock for me and i'm sure others are in the same boat as me.

The achievements are 19/20 so it is locked in game.

Does the achievement show as locked or unlocked in the in-game achievement list? (Tap the icon to the right of the anvil in the bottom-right, then select Achievements)

If it shows as locked there, what happens if you actually build a catapult? (Select Army Camp>Train>Catapult) If your Army Camp is full, try waging battle against someone to lose some units and free up space for the catapult.

Building one isn't, from what I recall, a requirement when first unlocking the achievement, but perhaps it'll be enough to trigger it this time.

I'm not sure this will work, but figure it's worth a try. Let us know how you get on.
