Achievement not unlocking - Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

I have a problem with the "Single Player Master" achievement not unlocking in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2.

This isn't a new problem and there is quite a bit of documentation on the issue. However I am wondering if the achievement as been fixed with the game becoming backwards compatible.

I currently have 59/60 achievements in the game. I have clearly met the requirements for the achievement as it states "unlock all other Single Player achievements." The issue that was discovered years ago is that the code for the achievement only checks the last 50 achievements. This was not an issue when the game launched with 42 achievements. However when the DLC was released, the additional achievements broke the code's ability to scan everything.

Has this been fixed with the release of the backwards compatible version? If not, is it possible for Xbox to manually unlock this achievement given the fact that it is easily verifiable that I have completed the requirements? Thanks

First to answer your question if Xbox can manually unlock game achievement, the answer is "NO". It is part of the game criteria regarding achievements that it will be release after completion of each game and it is automatically generated.

Based on researched, we found out that this problem is not new and there is quite a bit of documentation on the issue. Unfortunately, there is no official statement from Ubisoft or Microsoft regarding this issue. This can be a sort of system or game glitch.

We also found a list of all 60 achievements in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 on TrueAchievements.com. The list shows that the Single Player Master achievement is worth 50 Gamerscore and can be received by unlocking all other ‘Single player mode’ achievements.

There is no specific information on whether this issue has been fixed with the release of the backwards compatible version. However, you can try contacting Ubisoft or real time Microsoft support for assistance with this issue. They may be able to manually unlock this achievement for you if it is easily verifiable that you have completed the requirements.
