Achievement not unlocking (ghost hunter) Destiny

Is this a known problem? Collected more than 50 ghosts but still no unlock, but other Achievement's unlock.

Destiny Ghost Hunter Achievement

Does the achievement show that you have 100% completed in the tracking?

Destiny has a habit of holding achievements "open", it is likely to pop in a few days at a time when you totally didn't expect it to.

I had this with a number of achievements in Destiny, I would be doing something totally different like watching Amazon a few days later and I'd get a batch of Destiny achievements start popping one after the other.

If you have a 2nd account on your Xbox, try loading the game with your primary account into the Tower, then drop to main menu and select "Switch Profile" and log in the 2nd account to the Tower then back to main menu and "Switch Profile" back to your primary
account. It should push through achievements you should have unlocked.

If that doesn't work, so as long as your tracker says you have 100% complete, the only thing you can really do is wait it out and the achievement will pop for you at a later time.

 

Destiny Ghost Hunter Achievement

I've collected all 68 ghosts in Destiny but the achievement which should unlock at 50 hasn't. Any Ideas? As I cant go back and collect them again because they aren't there!

Looks like you're not alone, but it takes a few days to register sometimes.

Sometimes achievements may take up to 48 hours to verify and unlock. However, in some rare occasions, some people have reported that it takes even longer than that to unlock some achievements. Try waiting it out for a few days first, and if that doesn't
unlock the achievement, then post back here with an update.

 

I had similar issues with Destiny. Eventually the achievements did unlock. You could try logging out of your account and logging back in while Destiny is still running. That has been known to help unlock achievements that get stuck.

 

One thing I have found for Destiny specifically is while logged in go to menu, and RB over to settings, and under the log out tab click "switch profile." Then log back in and select your character. Sometimes this will work, but not always. Maybe it will
for you.

 

I am also having the same issues I should have five achievements unlocked and don't have them... I should have the crucible achievement rank 1, i am currently rank 2 and still don't have the achievement and i have killed 100 each of the hunter, titan, and
warlock and have killed over 850 people and still dont have it, also i havent got the achievement for capturing 50 control points and i have played well over 50 matches and dont have that as well, and the last one i haven't gotten yet is wearing all legendary
or exotic gear.. still havent gotten that one yet either.

 

I was having the same issue. Tried the log out of character/switch profile option and then logged back into the same character/profile at which point the achievement unlocked.
