Achievement not showing and popping up in xbox one

Im having trouble seeing my achievements. I was playing Watch Dogs and i was suppose to get two achievements but it didnt pop up. It was wierd so i went home and went the achievement app but it didnt want to show my achievements at all , i use the "snap"
app and it also doesn't want to show for the game. I thought it was the game because i went to play COD Advance Warfare and the achievement for that game showed when i use "snap" app. But when i did the requirements for two achievements, it didn't pop up and
now it doesn't want to show the achievements in the "snap" app. Can someone help me, i really want to get my achievements. Im afraid if i play another game the achievements wont pop up

Flagbear Overwatch

The flag bearer achievement is not showing up in my achievement section I have it in game but not in my achievements for some reason. I've tried all the support section achievement stuff but it's not working, I've done the requirement for the achievement plenty
of times but still the achievement is not popping up idk it's really bothering me pliz help!

Are you able to earn achievements at all? And you're just not seeing the notification pop up? Or are you saying that you aren't able to earn achievements at all?

Some games have a delay for achievements popping. Not sure if the the problems over Xmas have anything to do with it but it's probably not helped. You'll probably have them randomly pop over the next day or so.

 

Also, try a hard reset to see if that sorts out not being able to see achievements. Keep your finger on the power button on the console for around 10 seconds until it fully shuts down.

 

I haven't been able to use the achievement app on One since Xmas eve. Some achievements seem to have registered as usual but some are missing. I hope once all DDOS issues have been solved that the cheevos & the snap app start working again and I'll get the
missing one...

 

Should be OK when Live settles down. Have you tried a hard reset to see if it sorts it out?

 

A friend and I experienced the same problem yesterday, the achievements came though an entire day later. The Christmas issues are most likely to blame for this, and i'm sure your achievements are gonna come through within the next day or so.

 

Achievements suck on the Xbox One, bottom line. It's been broken since Day One. It can vary Game to Game but out of most I have played only a few with even a fewer Achievements work and Unlock when they are supposed to.

lol I still have a Locked 100% Achievements in a few places. I can only guess MS had to rework some of the Achievement System to prevent people from Cheating Gamescore (like last Gen). This in turn has made it very broken and non-functional for those who always
Unlocked Achievements by simply playing Games.

There can be a delay in the Achievement popping. I know i had problems with Watch Dogs too, but after contacting Ubisoft i was told this was known, and would be rectified in the future. If the specifications for the achievement has been met, it is saved,
so even if it doesn't pop up right away it can come later.

A lot of the achievement tracking comes from the developer software, so if something doesn't pop when you know you have done it, i would contact the support from the developer.

A lot of people think MS is handling the achievements, but it's actually registered in the developer software, and after requirements are met, it's then telling the Xbox achievement system to trigger the specified achievement.

Basically if the game software isn't registering the requirements properly, it will never send the Achievement trigger to the system, and the achievement won't pop up. Also if the developer has the achievement tracking based on a server, like Destiny, it
can be delayed or need a relog in order to pop up.

 

The odd chevo not popping is hardly an "epic fail" a minor irritation maybe, it's not like every cheevo fails to pop. The only game it's happened to me on is Shadow of Mordor.
