Achievement Issues

I am new to the Xbox one, and considering how much it cost I am very very irritated that so far its performance is actually
worse than my 11+ year old xbox 360 arcade. It's slow to turn on and my only game fallout 4 is also very slow between loading screens and fast travels I actually think a good 5 hours of my gameplay so far has been sat waiting to do something.
I understand that Fallout 4 has a massive amount of data to process but I found out that the achievements on the xbox one are totally ridiculous. they sometimes pop up on my screen, sometimes don't regardless of changing notification settings and hardresetting
the console on several occasions. Today while playing I "Unlocked an achievement" and I was told by checking that the achievement was "Unlocking" so I waited, An hour later nothing. 5 minutes after I achieved this achievement requirements I unlocked another
with no problem and unlocked it immediately after I met the requirements. All I can say is what the ***? this console cost so much money and so far its worse than the 360. Does anyone have any actual, permanent fixable solutions? I'm seriously starting to
regret my lifetime loyalty to Microsoft. Would contact support but I can't even email them after 10 and they are normally super clueless anyway.

Ryse Achievements not unlocking

Live was having some connection issues the thing with achievement is if live is having issues you cannot unlock x1 achievements.
The achievement community was groining about this yesterday as nothing was unlocking

 

achievements stuck in Halo MCC

I had the same issue with an achievement last night, but in a different game. I did not get the first achievement in Stick of Truth. Not sure how to fix the issue.

 

Is That the only game doing it ? You grip may be with Fallout and not the Xbox, I cant finfd the thread right now but LOTS of fallout issues , mostly synching ...

 

Hey dude,

The xbox should be quick to start up, depending on your power settings. Make sure you have it set to "instant on" as described in the link below

Nextly, regarding the achievement bugs, this is a not so common bug with some of the achievements, and happens kind of randomly. There is a thread created by support that has some good tips on how to fix it:

I'd suggest giving you console a hard boot or power cycle, just to ensure everything is running smoothly. A hard boot closes down all background applications and boots the console up nice and fresh, and is something I reccomend doing at least weekly
