Achievement Art Background

Since the Spring 2017 Update, I've been having an issue with Achievement Art being used as the profile background. I currently have 5 profiles on my Xbox One (one for each family member). After a restart, once a profile is signed in, all other profiles
show the same Achievement Art background and cannot be changed. No issues are noticed with a color only background. Have tried a power cycle and changing all profiles to color only; but once Achievement Art is turned on for one profile again, it shows for
all. I'm lost on any ideas to fix if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks for your help.

Achievement Tip

Would be cool if Microsoft allowed us too use the achievement art as desktop background art.

 

Background and color

Transparency only works when you have custom or achievement art selected as background, Try setting an achievement as a background then change back to solid background colour of your choice .

We took a look and weren't able to reproduce this issue. To clarify though, when you're looking at the other profiles, are all of the other profiles signed out?

To make sure we're doing everything exactly as you are, can you please walk us through step by step so we can try to recreate the same error?

Thanks for the quick response. Let's say I power cycle or completely disconnect the power from my Xbox One and then restart the Xbox. I have mine set so that once its powered on, it does not automatically sign in to a profile. I sign into the profile
"" and the correct Achievement Art background appears (in this case, art from Forza Horizon 2). Then I sign out (without powering down) and attempt to sign in to the profile "Wendy Fincher". Once I do, even though that profile is set to display art
from Skylanders, it shows the art from Forza Horizon 2. If you go into settings, it says it's set to Skylanders art; however it will not display. If you change the setting to any other art, it will say it is changed; but will still display the Forza Horizon
2 art. Then I sign out of that profile and sign into the profile "Sierra Fincher" with the same result. No matter what the setting is, it will display Forza Horizon 2.

Now, I sign out of the profile and restart the Xbox. Instead this time, I sign into "Wendy Fincher" first. The correct art (Skylanders) displays as it should. However, now when I sign out and sign into other profiles, they all now display the Skylanders
art.

In short, whatever profile is signed in first after a restart displays the correct achievement art. Any other profiles that are signed in after the first profile is signed out displays the incorrect art until another restart is performed. This problem
first appeared immediately after the recent Spring Update. Prior to the update, all profiles displayed the correct art as normal.

I'm completely lost on this one and if possible, would like to avoid a complete factory reset of the Xbox. Thanks again for your help

 

Problem fixed. With the new update that rolled out today (04/13), the problem appears to be repaired and everything is working as normal. No idea what changed between the 03/29 and 04/13 updates; but I'll take the result. Thanks for looking into it.

 

Awesome, I guess it's one of life's little mysteries. Glad to hear the new update took care of it though!
