Achievement App Tracking Issue

Hi all, I have a question about the achievement app that I hope someone on here can help me with, I noticed when I was playing Max: The Curse Of Brotherhood recently that as I was working towards various achievements, the bar would give me a % to show how
close I was to completing the relevant achievement(s), however I have played several different games since this and not one of them has had this happen in the game, is this because not all games support achievement progress tracking, or is there something
wrong with the achievement app that stops this from working correctly??

The achievements themselves are all unlocking correctly, it just would be nice to be able to see how close I am to completing some of them, especially when there is no in game stats that show this, if someone could let me know that would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is with the tracking inside the XBOX One Achievements app (not the True Achievements app).

 

Achievements not tracking - Progress no longer being shown

Earlier today, I was having no problems tracking the progress of each of the achievements. I was unlocking achievements without any issue and having a generally good time with the game. About 4-5 hours into my game session, I notice that an achievement I
was expecting to unlock did not. I went to the app and saw that all my progress for each achievement not yet unlocked was gone. The app was no longer tracking my progress and had essentially deleted what progress I had. I tried to make progress again on some
achievements to see if it would start tracking again, but nothing. I deleted the save file from the console and got it off the cloud....nothing. I uninstalled the entire game from the system and reinstalled...nothing. I am out of ideas at this point. I am
wondering if I have run into a bug in the game, which is causing problems with tracking and unlocking achievements. Maybe my last save checkpoint caused the glitch and that my current save file on the cloud is slightly corrupted. I can play the game fine,
but the achievements aren't working. Is anyone else having this issue? I also noticed that my Titanfall achievements are still being tracked on the achievement app, so I don't think it is the app.

 

I have had mixed results with achievement progress tracking. First of all, it is all tracked through the cloud, so at different times your displayed progress may not match your actual progress. There are also times that achievements unlock up to 24 hours
after I earned them. With Halo, my achievement progress has all been dead on, but with some other games, I have not even had a progress bar for many achievements, so I think it all depends on the developer too. There have been lots of updates to the app, and
I'm sure there will be many more in the future to take care of these issues. This is all from personal experience, and I don't know the official answer, but if you are having issues with tracking in games that other people aren't, I would run through the network
testing steps first.
