Thanks Alex. To confirm, do you have the 'QG241Y' or 'QG241Y S'? Only the 'S' model supports 165Hz, the normal model is 75Hz.

I have the same problem on Acer Iconia W510 after updating to Windows 8.1. That is not RT nor ARM. Hope the new update will fix the sound anyways.

P.S. I have exactly the same issue with coin sound also in Mahjong and Taptiles.
