The Dark Matter Ending

I remember the references to dark matter in the first 2 games, but never paid much attention to the Dark Matter Ending until now... for some reason. Anyway, aside from former Mass Effect
lead writer, Drew Karpyshyn, saying this:



"The Reapers as a whole were 'nations' of people who had fused together in the most horrific way possible to help find a way to stop the spread of the Dark Energy. The real reason for the Human Reaper was supposed to be the
Reapers saving throw because they had run out of time. Humanity in Mass Effect is supposedly unique because of its genetic diversity and represented the universe's best chance at stopping Dark Energy's spread."



And that,



The original choice was between killing the Reapers and trying to find a way to stop the Dark Energy threat with what little time was left before it consumed the galaxy, or,
"Sacrifice humanity, allowing them to be horrifically processed in hopes that the end result will justify the means." Taken from

So, my question is this: does anyone else have any other links where Karpyshyn talks about the ending-that-was-supposed-to-be? Or links to the supposed leaked script of the original ending? I can find neither -- I can only find conjecture & opinions.

 

You get it for completing public events. The events occur in the Patrol missions on each world. I believe you can actually find a predictable timetable online for the events.

 

^ You can I have been farming events like crazy now that I know when they will show up lol.
