When I did some searching trying to find the official forums, which I think were the official ones, there were only like 5 posts in it about AC7. Seemed very unfriendly to use and no one else was on it. So if someone has a link to the official forums to
post about this, I like others would gladly give details regarding my experience.

Its clearly NOT a console issue, as all of us only have the issue with this game. Some of us can replicate the issue down to a science, and console has nothing around it and the room temp is 70F. I almost think there is some kind of memory leak or something
and the system freaks out. Especially after seeing Digital Foundry's review on the game and talking about how the PS4 version and going to sleep causes the game to eventually drop 10fps until you reboot it.

It just feels like people don't get it or understand. Its not a fault with the console. I like you have isolated this to this specific game.

The ambassadors are just trying to help, which I fully respect and appreciate, and I'm sure they spend a lot of time prowling several different forums/threads for Microsoft every day, but let's be a little more detail-oriented with our responses before we
blame the console itself for the issue when it's already been made clear that the console isn't the problem.

Easy solutions aren't always the best solutions.

Also, do you happen to have a link to the official developer/Ace Combat forums so we can make sure they're aware of the problem as well?

You have to skip that cutscene on mission 19 after defeating it. You shouldn't have any more problems completing it afterwards

That was my plan when I tried it the 2nd time. Before I was at the very last part with only 1 target left (trying to avoid spoilers), and it shut off. I might try it again tonight to see if skipping works, assuming it lets me beat the mission first. It is
just so frustrating that I have had to redo a mission I already beat 4 times now (more if it fails next time), and restart 5+ times after only being a minute or 2 into a mission when it would shut off. It has literally caused me to waste probably 3 hours of
time and would have already beaten the game if it actually played properly. If I can't finish the game, or its not patched in the next week I might just ask for a refund and buy it on Steam, maybe. The lack of attention this game has received for Xbox and
PC is outright shameful for a developer. Xbox gets a poor port from Playstation that is unplayable to many. The PC version can't even get native Ultrawide support. Its 2019 for crying out loud. /rant

It's unlikely we'll see a fix within the next week. The Ace Combat series is traditionally a PlayStation only franchise (6 and 7 being the exceptions that have started changing that trend). Bandai is a Japanese company, and the PlayStation dominates Japan
(for obvious reasons). That's where their loyalty lies and where their priorities will be for as long as Sony makes the PlayStation and it continues to blow Xbox out of the water in terms of fan base. It's about numbers, mostly.

As far as Microsoft is concerned, the Xbox is just a tiny slither of what Microsoft does as a company. Their bread and butter is PC software/products, such as Office, Windows, the Surface Pro, etc. The Xbox is most likely just a side project for them and
the team that deals with Xbox issues is likely small and taxed with a variety of problems. Just look at the recent update for the console

(I put it here for your convenience, if you're interested), it fixed an issue that some people were having with the console shutting off randomly (unrelated to Ace Combat 7, evidently). That in and of itself probably took the Xbox team quite a while to
resolve (assuming it *is* resolved) considering the last update before that was in December, so we're looking at almost two months between updates with no indication on when the shutdown issue started occurring. Then they had to code it and release an update.

Also, fixing these issues probably isn't all that easy. They have to fine the line of coding that's causing the issue and then figure out what, specifically, is wrong with it and then determine what the fix actually is before implementing, testing, and releasing
the update. Worst case scenario, we may not see a fix at all (though, I really, really hope we do see one, because I'd rather not refund this game and get the PlayStation version instead. I'd get it on PC, but the lack of native Ultrawide support, as you mentioned,
bothers me. Petty, but true).
