Accounts and games moving to Series X

This is going to sound stupid, but would the games come over anyway with the Xbox account via the Cloud on the Series X and/or adding the Series X to the devices on the Microsoft account. Or is a network transfer an alternative method?

Yes. All the licenses to your games are on your gamertag, if you have an external however i suggest you install the games on exteranl first so you dont have to redownload all those games once you get your series x.

The games on the SSD will run fine on it. You won't need to move them to the Xbox Series X storage to play them. Only the Xbox Series X games & games optimized for Series X will need to be played on the consoles own storage.

Are you talking about series x or patched games ?

If so then no you MUST move them back onto internal drive for series x to work

Your saves are stored on the cloud so as long as you use the same account on the Series X, they'll move with you.
