Account won't download

Okay, straight to the point. My friend is trying to download his account on my Xbox and it seems to get stuck on "downloading game info". We've tried clearing the cache and rebooting and it didn't work. I tried to download another account and it worked,
but my friends account always seems to get stuck on the same spot. Please help.

Hi there,

please check if there is a corrupt profile in the storage section at Settings - System - Storage - select storage device. Any corrupt item will have a yellow icon with exclamation mark.

If there are any present please delete it.

After that, please clear the cache, restart the console, clear cache again and have the friend try to download their xbox live account again.

Hey Manglips!

WPAK's tips are solid. If there are any corrupt items on your Xbox 360's HDD, this could cause issues with downloading content, which includes profiles. Following up with clearing the system cache is always a great follow up step, especially after clearing
any corrupt files.

If you downloaded it from a us account then migrated it won't work

Some content on the marketplace is region locked. Because of this, your account region and physical location have to match in order to properly download content. So if your account region is different than your physical location, you won't be able to download
it. Or if the content is not available in that country, you won't be able to download it.

If they are downloaded via games on demand on your account and you remove your account and downloads from the hard drive, then they won't be able to be accessed without your account, they are tied to your account

Your account region has to match your physical location in order to download it. If you're not actually in the USA, it won't download if your account is set for the US.

It won't get anyone in trouble because it won't work you CANNOT transfer license from one account to another.
