account was hijacked

Went to sign on today and after resetting my password, I was told that my account was signed on elsewhere.

When I went into my account on my computer = I found that it was no longer my tag -- but that of

Angry that my account was taken over and I cannot get it reset.

Get this nasty elf off my account.

Even if I have to start from scratch - the nasty elf is not me and I want it gone.

Whew... I'm glad you posted that @ArmoredZambo. I was worried that someone hijacked my account.

Ahh I was going to say if your able to post on here under the account in question you can change the password.

You should also change your email password, and any other passwords that have the same email/password combination. Forums/Facebook/Myspace/Banks etc..

 

I think you created a new account by mistake. My reason for thinking this is that the account has no gamerscore, and no played games showing. I am concerned that you received the message that your account was signed in elsewhere. I would suggest contacting
phone support and have them open an unauthorized access investigation. They can tell if your account has been compromised. Be aware that your account will likely be frozen while the investigation is in process. 800-4MY-XBOX for the US and Canada.
