    Hi guys. My internet is all fine and everything but for some reason when I try and use the same details for backwards comp games such as mw2 etc I can't log into my 360 but my xbox one is working fine for regular games.... any help ?

    Confused about sharing digital games and license transfer

    Okay, can someone clear this up about transfering licenses for the 360? Let's say I wanna share Destiny with my friend. I buy the digital copy and I download it. Then my friend on her own separate 360 goes onto my account and downloads it. Now she did a license transfer to her account. She should be able to log onto her own account after she's done playing Destiny and play it. People are saying you would have to be on the account that purchased it to play it, and you have to be connected to Xbox Live at all time, unless you were on the console where the game was first purchased on, then it would be available for all the profiles on that console. Are they including if you do a license transfer or not? Because to my knowledge, once you do a license transfer on let's say account A to console B, then any accounts on console B can play any games that account A owns.

    Sorry, this is not possible to do. The use of the license transfer system in this way is not prohibited. A license transfer cannot be used to transfer one piece of content from one console to another. It transfers all licenses from one Xbox 360 to another Xbox
    360, not from one Xbox LIVE account to another Xbox LIVE account.

    We understand that you have an inquiry in regards to purchases on a Microsoft account, and if they can be transferred to a separate account.

    Purchases cannot be transferred between accounts, but you can transfer the digital content through a license transfer on an Xbox 360.
