Account to account License Transfer????

I want to transfer my Taken King xbox 360 License to my grandsons account.. The Digital rights are already paid for but not currently in use.. why can't I simply transfer the rights to my grandsons account from my account?

Gold on 360 and One

An existing Gold account will work on the X1 and 360 simultaneously, but you have never been able to assign an account's Gold status to another account. An account is either Gold or it isn't.

I think the family Gold on the X1 is a bit misleading, because the way I read the description on the X1 doesn't make it sound any different to how licenses work on the 360, i.e. one license to the account and one to the console. I don't think the new guest account feature grants access to multiplayer matches or content either.

Confused about sharing digital games and license transfer

Okay, can someone clear this up about transfering licenses for the 360? Let's say I wanna share Destiny with my friend. I buy the digital copy and I download it. Then my friend on her own separate 360 goes onto my account and downloads it. Now she did a license transfer to her account. She should be able to log onto her own account after she's done playing Destiny and play it. People are saying you would have to be on the account that purchased it to play it, and you have to be connected to Xbox Live at all time, unless you were on the console where the game was first purchased on, then it would be available for all the profiles on that console. Are they including if you do a license transfer or not? Because to my knowledge, once you do a license transfer on let's say account A to console B, then any accounts on console B can play any games that account A owns.

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. The license transfer tool is used to transfer the licenses from one console to another but not between accounts.

If I cannot transfer content from my account to my grandsons account. it means that it is Theft..

You can try contacting support to see if they can give you a refund for the game on your account so you can purchase it on his account, but as Homegrown stated, nothing can be transferred between accounts. This is part of the terms of use you agreed to when
you when created your account
