    Gamertags taken by silver accounts

    Aren't all gamertags considered "unique" since none of them can be the same as another?

    Do you think Microsoft will remove silver accounts that took "unique" gamertags and after taking the gamertag not signing in once?

    Also I asked this because I want to change my gamertag and everything I want to use it taken by a silver account that hasn't signed in awhile. If anyone has any good ideas for one worded gamertags let me know so I can change my gt. Thanks

    You mean you purchased an illegal account and they confiscated it back to the original owner?

    Or you been suspended ?

    If your account has been banned or suspended you would lose access to all items that were associated with it, including Gold memberships.

    If this has happened to you please post in the Suspension Forums so the PET can address you directly.

    Phone Xbox Support as soon as possible to open an Unauthorised Access Claim. However the account will be locked for upto 30 days.

    I cannot associate my Microsoft Account with my Xbox Live account.

    Once a Microsoft Account is associated with a gamertag, that slot in the Microsoft Account is taken and you can't assign another gamertag to it until the gamertag is assigned to a different Microsoft Account.
