Account switching confusion and account configuration

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread.

If you delete the account, you will be unable transfer over any content, services, or data.

This means that you will lose everything you have on the account, thus deleting the account is not recommended.

It's possible to configure the console as the
Home Xbox of that account, and create a new account and configure that account as a Child account with all the restrictions you desire enabled.

I hope this is able to clear up any confusion this might have caused.

I have tried:

Turning my Switch off and on again

Uninstalling Minecraft and reinstalling

The purchases aren't showing on my Microsoft account, but I have the emails on the same account I'm logged into....

I'm confused did Microsoft just straight up lose my purchase history???

I am devastated and confused and feeling helpless

Does he have the console set as the Home Console? That's required for anyone else to play digitally owned games that he purchased. You can see how to set a console as home using

if you want to add a new account on your xbox, press xbox button, scroll left and select add new

if you want switch accounts between sign accounts, press xbox button, scroll left and select sign accounts

if you want delete accounts, press xbox button, scroll right, select configuration, select account, select delete accounts
