Account switched to second unused gamertag

hi there I logged into my account on a friends Xbox, however upon typing in the details, it logged me into the account with a different gamertag, however it was on the same email and account as the MAIN account that I used of a different gamertag. Why has
this happened and how can I change my account back to the other gamertag account?

FYI: I DONT want to change my gamertag, I was just logged in to my account which was logged in on my other gamertag in the account and not my main one. I am trying to play FIFA ultimate team, however my team is on the main gamertag. Thank you for any help

NEW service idea.

Earlier in the year, a massive amount of old gamertags were released. since then i researched one ive been particularly interested in but unfortunately it still is taken. the tags released were from original Xbox, which makes since because they missed an
entire generation. the gamertag i want is seemingly unused and never switched over to Xbox one. What if Microsoft created a gamertag request/ retrieval service for dormant accounts. this way more gamertags would be released from old/unused accounts and more
people would be happy- so on and so forth. What does everyone think about this?

contact us via phone or chat support. They will be able to look up the gamertag that you're trying to log into and, if you are able to verify ownership of the account, will be able to provide
the email that should be used to log in.
