    When I got my xbox I was alot younger and my parents and I decided to link my xbox 360 account to my fathers email. Now I'm older and I really want my xbox 360 account linked to my own email adress.

    The problem is that a few years agoI got a pc xbox live game and I had to have an xbox account to play it. I made a new account (that is this account) and I linked it to my own email. I have never playd much on this account.

    I have tried everything to get this Xbox account of my email account, but whatever I try it won't work! I have made several new email account to try to move this account to them but I only ended up with more xbox accounts wich I dont want! I also have tried
    to get contact with xbox in order to help me but the only place I can get contact is via here. Is there a way that some one can help me?

    Hi there

    Yes, as far as I know that includes using your account/gamertag on a different console.

    So you may only use the account on one console (I do advise you to remove the profile (Profile only) from the other console) and after 30 days you should be able to move it to another Microsoft Account.

    Solution 5 listed HERE shows that you can not transfer your gamertag over to another Microsoft Account.

    Edit: I realize now that I have made a mistake by changing my account to a separate email so I will be waiting a month no matter what now.

    P.S. No edit button? or is that because this account is technically not the same account?

    Hey there Vay!

    Your stats are attached to your Xbox LIVE Profile, not your Microsoft Account. So if you switch your gamertag over to another Microsoft Account, you will still have the same stats. The only way you would not have the same stats is if you where to create a
    new profile and use that profile. :)

    You can change the Microsoft account that is associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. Here’s how:

    Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

    Go to Settings and select Account.

    Scroll right to Your Information and select Account Security.

    Select Change Windows Live ID.
