    I have a question that concerns the account swap method.

    I play a lot of Call of Duty games and this is my question. If I take my main email address and remove it from my gamertag and attach it to another email address, will my stats and stuff actually carry over or will it be associated with the gamertag on the
    new email address?

    For example: Gamertag A is attached to Email A. Removing Email A and attaching Gamertag A to Email B. Will that allow for Gamertag B on Email A to have completely new stats or will my stats be attached to the original email? That's mainly my question. Let
    me know if you know an answer.

    Hi there

    Yes, as far as I know that includes using your account/gamertag on a different console.

    So you may only use the account on one console (I do advise you to remove the profile (Profile only) from the other console) and after 30 days you should be able to move it to another Microsoft Account.

    This happened with me as well, it's extremely frustrating, microsoft should be on top of this.

    Hey there Vay!

    Your stats are attached to your Xbox LIVE Profile, not your Microsoft Account. So if you switch your gamertag over to another Microsoft Account, you will still have the same stats. The only way you would not have the same stats is if you where to create a
    new profile and use that profile. Account Swap :)

    Edit: I realize now that I have made a mistake by changing my account to a separate email so I will be waiting a month no matter what now.

    P.S. No edit button? or is that because this account is technically not the same account?

    You can change the Microsoft account that is associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag. Here’s how:

    Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

    Go to Settings and select Account.

    Scroll right to Your Information and select Account Security.

    Select Change Windows Live ID.
