    I am trying to swap my xbox account email to a new one but i have some problems to do this.

    First, in my current email address is a mistake and because of this i can not verify my account. Now without the account verification i can not change my email adress.

    (Problem: Current email address: .....@hotmal.com (i is missing -> ....@hotmail.com))

    I hope that someone can help me out of my misery

    Hi there

    Yes, as far as I know that includes using your account/gamertag on a different console.

    So you may only use the account on one console (I do advise you to remove the profile (Profile only) from the other console) and after 30 days you should be able to move it to another Microsoft Account.

    This happened with me as well, it's extremely frustrating, microsoft should be on top of this.

    If the system is asking for verification and you cannot do this (have you tried sending the verification code to a phone instead of email?) then you should contact support to see if they can help out.

    headache. There is always a obstacle a thing that blocks one's way or prevents or hinders progress when someone is trying to Switch a gamertag to another Microsoft account. I`ve found you a page that may help

    Good advice @pr1nce. However, the OP misspelled the email address which makes changing it a little trickier.

    So in a example

    - download profile B to console

    - wait 30 days

    - Create new microsoft account C

    - move gamer profile B to account C (this will free up account B from any profiles)

    - move profile A to account B

    Hi there,

    to remove that gamer profile from that Microsoft account, you will need to move that gamer profile to a different Microsoft account, you can do this via the xbox console. You will first need to download that profile onto the console to be able to move it.
    But after a profile is downloaded it will take 30 days before it can be moved to a different Microsoft account (this is a security measure)

    After that you can move that account to a different Microsoft account to free up the Microsoft account you want to use for your gamer profile and then you can move your gamer profile to your Microsoft account.
