    Account Suspension


    So I was playing some online games with a buddy of mine and some kids were harassing us in game chat then sent messages to me in the chat, I responded with one message way with no more than a sentence and I am banned from comms until the 16th?? I have a
    good player reputation and have had no issues in the past, why no am I all of a sudden getting this comm ban especially without any sort of warning. I could understand if comments made we to the general public in a manner that affected their gaming experience
    but one message in a private setting one on one should not be what bans a person. Any help would be great, just talk it through. you know, innocent until proven guilty sort of thing.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Your account won't of been suspended just because of 1 single race in GTA, there would of obviously been more to it but as you are not willing to discuss it with the Code Of Conduct Team then you will never know.

    Checks my Feedback.....yep looks about right. 11 for Unsporting and 6 for Cheating in the last 6 months. No one likes a winner in TF2 !

    You were given a warning. It is the
    Code of Conduct     that you agreed to when you created your Xbox Live account.

    Xbox Live is rated "E" for everyone. This includes party chat and messages.

    So I went through the enfocement.xbox.com and can see my suspension but there is no option to submit a case review, I have went through the help tabs and there is still no option. Could you provide a link to the case review or some
    sort of visual aid to help me find it (link a reddit walkthrough maybe)

    Can you provide the link and article (or a visual aid; time stamped screenshot with url) in the Code of Conduct that shows where this rating is? When I Read the code of conduct as provided with your link there was no mention of any
    rating for online actions and most games state that online interactions are not rated by the ESRB.

    Xbox Enforcement | How Do I Not all suspensions are eligible for a case review. If yours is not eligible, all you can do is wait it out.

    Sounds like you have more than one account on your console & one of the accounts has been suspended.

    As using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on your main account is against the code of conduct then a console privilege suspension was issued to stop you from doing this.

    The console suspension wont show on the enforcement site brandiesel linked but the account suspension will.You can appeal the account suspension if eligible,not the console suspension though.

    Console suspensions are issued to stop people using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on their main account,which is against the code of conduct.

    As mentioned,console suspensions can not be appealed & should end at the same time as the account suspension.

    Sounds like a console privilege suspension.

    Using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on another account is against the code of conduct so console privilege suspensions are issued to stop people from doing this.

    One of the accounts on your console must be suspended & due to the console suspension all other accounts on that console will have the same restrictions as the suspended account but will work on other devices which is why your account works on your cousins
    xbox.

    The console suspension should end at the same time as the account suspension ends.

    WHY DID U GIVE MY SON A FALSE XBOX BAN?

    Sounds like a console privilege suspension.

    These are issued to prevent someone from using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on their main account which is against the code of conduct.

    Your other accounts will work on other devices,not just your sons xbox while the suspension is in place.

    Your son can appeal the account suspension if eligible via the link gds 1972 posted but console suspensions can not be appealed.
