Account suspension

I received an email today to say that my son's account has been suspended for two weeks. He claims he did nothing wrong. I am trying to get an answer from xbox live as to exactly why the account has been suspended. I am currently on the phone to support
but the person I was speaking to stopped talking five minutes ago, although the line is not dead - he is just refusing to answer. He claimed the only way I could find out why my son was banned was to report another user and then someone would contact me about
that report and I could then ask why he was suspended??? I can't even begin to explain why this is completely ridiculous! All I want to know is why my son can not use a service that I have paid for! The email stated the following:

The conduct that caused this suspension may include but is not limited to:

Altering the appearance of your avatar outside of officially supported tools

Illegitimately gaining achievements or avatar awards

Manipulating watermarks, tenure level, or other account identifiers

Unauthorised changes to in-game parameters

Making unauthorised modifications to your account or profile

which does exactly jack **** to explain what he has supposedly done wrong. How do I get any answers from these people? It has now been nine minutes and I just heard the guy on the phone cough for crying out loud, but he is still ignoring me!

Thanks for sharing.

Your account won't of been suspended just because of 1 single race in GTA, there would of obviously been more to it but as you are not willing to discuss it with the Code Of Conduct Team then you will never know.

Checks my Feedback.....yep looks about right. 11 for Unsporting and 6 for Cheating in the last 6 months. No one likes a winner in TF2 !

Looks like your son has been banned for modding.

Phone support are nothing to do with xbox live enforcement & what he told you about reporting another user is complete rubbish.

To get an official answer as to why your son was banned you need to post here
forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx

It's the only place the enforcement team can be contacted.

Even if you post in that forum, odds are you're going to get the same reasoning that the email already stated. As Daft alluded to, odds are your son used mods in Minecraft. (Just an educated guess.)

Sounds like you have more than one account on your console & one of the accounts has been suspended.

As using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on your main account is against the code of conduct then a console privilege suspension was issued to stop you from doing this.

The console suspension wont show on the enforcement site brandiesel linked but the account suspension will.You can appeal the account suspension if eligible,not the console suspension though.

Using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on another account is against the code of conduct so console privilege suspensions are issued to stop people from doing this.

One of the accounts on your console must be suspended & due to the console suspension all other accounts on that console will have the same restrictions as the suspended account but will work on other devices which is why your account works on your cousins
xbox.

The console suspension should end at the same time as the account suspension ends.

Sounds like a console privilege suspension.

These are issued to prevent someone from using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on their main account which is against the code of conduct.

Your other accounts will work on other devices,not just your sons xbox while the suspension is in place.

Your son can appeal the account suspension if eligible via the link gds 1972 posted but console suspensions can not be appealed.
