Account Suspension

Good Evening All,

I am posting about a unique case tonight. I have been suspended on xbox live for communications. Note, before we proceed, I've already tried filing a case review (which the enforcement team went right to a conclusion), and I've tried contacting support.

Me and my friend were messaging each other. As a joke he reported my one message, thinking I wouldn't get banned. Now weve also been friends for 3 years and know each other in real life. Out of nowhere, I get a notice I have been suspended! So my friend
finds out the next day as he got off his xbox. Both me and him are trying to get my account unbanned. We file a case review and after 18 hours, no info requested they simply said the suspension was "warranted".

I have full proof that this ban was a complete mistake. I have messages proofing it, and both me and my friend are trying to get my account unbanned so we can go back to having fun.

I hope that this post somehow reaches the Enforcement Team, as I am very upset about this.

I am also aware of the terms of use and policy of Xbox Live, and treat everyone equally and respectively just the way i would like to be treated.

So all I ask, is If i can get my suspension reversed. Thanks everyone.

Your account won't of been suspended just because of 1 single race in GTA, there would of obviously been more to it but as you are not willing to discuss it with the Code Of Conduct Team then you will never know.

Checks my Feedback.....yep looks about right. 11 for Unsporting and 6 for Cheating in the last 6 months. No one likes a winner in TF2 !

 

Submitting a case review is the only way to contact the enforcement team. If you already filed one and they upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do but wait out the suspension.

It doesn't matter if your friend filed a complaint as a joke, the enforcement team investigates every complaint that is received and would only issue a suspension if they determined you had done something to violate the code of conduct.

 

Contacting Xbox Enforcement team is your only way to go.

 

Other than filing a case review, what other ways are available of contact?

By what you said, you have already opened a case review and the enforcement team said the suspension was final. Joke or not violation of the Code of conduct still happened.

 

The ONLY people that can put a suspension and lift a suspension on an account are the enforcement team.

As previously posted the ONLY way to contact them is if you have an active suspension and through the case review process and if you have already filed a case review and the enforcement team has upheld the suspension saying that it was a valid suspension
then there is nothing else that you can do but wait out the suspension.

and take numerous factors into account when considering issuing a suspension. The context around the content or activity is particularly essential and drives our decision-making process. Simply put, there is no magic formula that instantly results in a suspension.

Despite what some may claim, Xbox Enforcement Team will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions
always occur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation.
