Account suspension - possibly hacked

Hi there my account was suspended perminantly back in april 2016 for account tampering - im not entirely sure how because i havent owned an xbox for over 3 years now, ive just purchased another 360 thinking i can log into my account and get back the hundreds
of games ive already purchased but it appears my account has been suspended and i cant file a case review for some reason, I'm starting to think my account was hacked as my password was very weak and thhey used my account and got it banned but im still not
sure. any help would be apprieciated

You would need to call support and have them start an unauthorized access investigation.

You can file a complaint via the console on that person's gamertag. The enforcement team will investigate from there to see if that is who took your account.

Account possibly hacked

This morning I sign in and I receive a notification that my account was last signed in on a different console. I have never given anyone my account info ever. The first thing I noticed was somebody on my friends list I had never added or accepted. This person's
GT is: [REMOVED - DO NOT POST OTHER GTS]. Then I notice my 3420 MS points are down to just 20. If anyone can do anything to get this guy banned or find who did this, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there is anyway to get my MS points
reimbursed it would mean a lot. Thanks.

 

All enforcement cases are handled by the enforcement team here:
https://enforcement.xbox.com and I would assume you can't file an appeal since it happened so long ago.

If an automated assistant pops up click no thanks and scroll to the bottom. Then be sure to click on "Chat with Xbox Support" to start a conversation with official support.

 

It's a tad late to get back a permanently banned account yet if you claim your account was hacked report this at the xbox support to investigate. They can't undo the ban yet they can check if it was caused by a compromised account: (800) 469-9269 if you're

Your leaving this way too late, which is why your unable to submit a case review.

Please go to support and make a UA claim (Unauthorised Access Claim). However, you may even be late with that as well. Contact Us | Xbox Support

Xbox Account suspensions are issued on the accounts. Once they are issued then you will not be able to use your account until the suspension is lifted. All the content you have purchased, that is tied to that account, is no longer redeemable or refundable.
Thus meaning there is no way of getting the money back for what you have spent.

I know this is probably not what you want to read, but I don't believe in watering down news. I would much rather people to be straight to the point, no matter how bad the news is. So please don't take this the wrong way.

I hope your able to submit a UA claim, and get this sorted.

I tried to file an UA claim but the support man told me because my password has not changed in the past 2 years there is nothing he can prove so he cannot help me

 

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately that means there isn't anything more that can be done.
