Account Suspension for Nothing

So here's the story.

I'm playing a PvP game mode in this game Destiny 2 called Gambit. Not to over explain, but it's two teams fighting to see how many PvE kills they can get and how many bosses they can kill. One mechanic of the game mode involves an enemy team player being
able to teleport on to your team's map and for about 30 seconds he has free range to hunt you down. Where is this going you're probably wondering?

Well, this one player on the enemy team decides to use that mechanic over and over, (his mistake), and is naturally met with me killing him each time he tried. After like the 2nd or 3rd try the guy messages me "way to play passive". I of course being
the bigger person, kindly inform this gentleman to grow a pair and just play the game. Well he keeps messaging me about how "I'm playing passive" and how "I'm Trash". Long story short, after two round of [Moderator Removed - Profanity] kicking,
My team won the match and I rubbed it in by taunting over his death camera and messaging him, "Get [Moderator Removed - Profanity] lool". He does the baby thing, reports me, and now I'm suspended. For some reason him messaging me over and
over about how I suck means nothing, but when I rub in a victory I get suspended. Thanks Microsoft. (And for anyone wondering, the taunt was playing a trombone with that failure jingle"

I already did the case review and they responded simply with just the same thing but in a different way. It stated the same date/time in the case review decision.

To see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com Investigations do take time so the suspension would not have been issued on the same day as the action. It could have taken place weeks ago.

 

It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be suspended. If you want to try submitting a case review, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com

 

The issue here is that the other player reported you after you infringed on some rules and had the proof of your “get [Moderator Removed - Profanity] lool” message. Had you reported him they
may have also gotten a ban. I’m not saying either is right or wrong but that’s how the system works.
