ACCOUNT SUSPENSION/ENFORCEMENT TEAM

When a suspension is put on the account is not when the infraction happened. This is how it works

1. Another player reports that a player violated the code of conduct which can be found here https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/codeofconduct

2. That report is then sent to the enforcement team.

3. The enforcement team investigates the report (which takes time)

4. Once the report is finished is when the enforcement action (suspension) is put on the account.

Since it can take time for the enforcement team to investigate you could get a suspension on your account without being on the console at the particular time that the enforcement team puts the suspension on the account

If you feel you should not have been suspended you can go to the enforcement teams website enforcement.xbox.com and file for a case review at which point the enforcement team will reinvestigate the suspension and determine if they can lift the suspension
sooner.

The enforcement team does not follow these forums and the only way to contact them is through the case review process.

Have you checked with support to see if there was a further enforcement

There appears to be an issue that has been happening lately. It appears that if an enforcement action was extended then there may be no additional notification and the enforcement site does not reflect this extension. The only way to currently find out if
an enforcement action was extended is to contact Xbox support.

If you were permanently banned you would not be able to sign in to xbox live at all.

Are there any other accounts on your console?

If so,check that they are not suspended.

Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard reset, and re-adding the account.
