Account suspended no reason given besides marketplace theft

My live account is suspended(Feb 14,2017) for the first time in ~7 years for marketplace theft. I went through the motions of getting it reviewed but it was upheld. The only reason i can see it being suspended was my son bought something and i asked for
a refund as long as it didnt affect my account and if it did oh well im out a couple bucks. Whoever i talked to told me it wasnt a problem, it was the first time i asked for a refund. My most recent transaction was renewing my xbox live subscription (feb 9,2017)and
purchased a Gears of War 4 key (feb 7, 2017)on Amazon. I just want to know the specific reason why my account is suspended.

Meaningless Suspension

I got suspended till year 9999 and due to the actions I made and reasons I was given I highly Contest Against this Illegitimate action Microsoft made to my account

Suspending for things I did not do I would very much appreciate my account back

What sort of enforcement can I expect for marketplace theft?

If you involve yourself with marketplace theft, your account can be permanently suspended with repeat violations possibly leading to a console ban.

No one in the forums can answer that question. No one here, not even support have access to your account via the forums. You will need to go to the Enforcement website at enforcement.xbox.com to have any action taken. You also should have received an email
at the address associated with the suspended account.

Seems to be a focus the last few days on suspensions for refunds. The point is, the disclaimer when buying digitally is serious when it says "no refunds". Maybe someone on the account has received other refunds?

Im the only one on the account, and receiving the refund was authorized. If i got suspended for that transaction they should've emailed me with the specifics. I didnt even fight the transaction, I asked if i could get refunded but it wasn't a problem if
I didnt.

The enforcement team review all of the evidence before a ban is given, With marketplace theft it is pretty much obvious if you did or did not commit this as this is not something another player reports you for its something that is automatically detected
by the services.

In general marketplace theft would be along the lines of buying an item from the xbox store then later going and applying for a chargeback with your bank or with paypal, The moment that happens microsoft are informed of this and your account is then suspended
for theft.

If its suspended for marketplace theft which from what I'm gathering in your post thats whats happened.

If your dad disputed some charge with his bank and it was not handled through xbox support they look at that as marketplace theft and will suspend the account you may want to talk to your dad about that
