Account Suspended and can not cancel auto renewal

im having a bit of a problem my xbox 360 account doesnt run out until january its been pre paid with quartarly subscription. yet when i try and log on to my account it is saying im suspended until i update my payment options which i checked and did and i
wanted to cancel the auto renewal as i cant afford it right now and was gonna revert back to silver for a while. can i find the subscription i am on in the list of subscriptions when i tried to cancel it??? no and i cant find how to cancel my subscription
and i cant log onto my account which doesnt run out until january what the hell feel like im being ripped off

i cant turn off auto renewal

my account was suspended and i want to cancel the auto renewal but it wont let me, this is annoying because i am not willing to keep paying for something i can no longer use

this is because you have auto renewal on, and microsoft has suspended your account because of billing issues, call microsoft xbox support and have them cancel the gold and then you can use your pre paidcard

Hello. Removing your Credit Card is not the way to stop your gold service. Or prevent the auto-renewal. You either have to select Auto-renew (OFF) found on your xbox.com profile Or call support to cancel. If you do not cancel in the correct method your account
can be suspended. I would take action soon to prevent a compound issue.

@Listed mia 510, canceling a card that is tied to an active subscription will cause the subscription to be cancelled and the account will be suspended for payment issues. Why would you recommend that someone get their account suspended? The best bet is
to call support if you are unable to stop the auto renew online.

Hi Luis,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. To answer the question if sub will cancel. The issue with this is if auto renewal is on. As you are unable to get into the account if the renewal is on, you cant disable it so it will keep charging. If it is not on
auto renew then yes it will basically suspend the subscription after a period of time of no payment.
