Account Stolen, need help please

Why in the world can someone log into my account overnight, from half way across the world from some place ive never been to, change all my information, and make it such a pain and headache to get my account back ?

I am not sure where else to turn, not this account im posting from but my secondary 'alt' account has been compromised. The account recovery has not been nice to me.

Why is it so hard to speak to a live service HUMAN that can help me ?

Like i said someone from Estonia according to the login email, from an IP address i have never used, logged into my account last night and managed to change my associated email and the phone number i had attached to the account for verification.

Im very upset this is possible and that im now having to deal with this at 8 AM

Does anyone have any words of advice or can point me in the right direction ?

I would love to be able to speak to a human to prove my innocence or my name or whatever i need to do to get my account back.

I am so sorry you are having issues with a compromised account. Please keep in mind, this is a user forum, we are not Microsoft.

You cannot speak to a agent to unlock an account, they do not have the power to open an account.

The first idea to find your email is to directly log into your account with your phone number.

You can find your username using this recovery tool: [https://account.live.com/username/recover] by inputting related data.

If this does not work, you can try to look for email receipts on alternative accounts or find accounts you made be logged into on different services.

Once you have found the new alias, you can recover the account using the Account Recovery Form: https://account.live.com/acsr]

Make sure to complete it in an area you would usually access your account from. It is important to be consistent with this form, you can complete the form twice a day everyday until your regain access to your account. Repeating this will increase your odds of recovery.
