Account sign-in blocked

Ah, OK, so the account itself is blocked through LIVE? Here are instructions on getting it unblocked:

Hi guys, so a week ago I was trying to sign into my account and I forgot my password. So I tried to reset it and afterwards it said that my account sign-in is blocked and I can't play Minecraft which is a game I have owned for nearly 5 years and I can't recover the account and I can't sign in. The recovery form is flawed as I just made the account so I don't have much security on the account currently. Please can someone from Microsoft help me settle this issue or give me a refund so that I can make a new Minecraft account.

As far as i am aware the recovery form is the only way in these instances. Someone else can correct me if im wrong.

youd have to be able to login to the account in order to request a refund for anything but if you owned minecraft for 5 years it wouldnt be eligible for a refund anyway.

I'm afraid only way to recover an Xbox account is via the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/password/reset

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

Sadly, support do not give out account information as it violates Microsoft's privacy policy.

And account xbox live block requires a password to sign in to the account but doesn't block the marketplace...

Go to Xbox.com and sign in with the blocked account. It will show the account is blocked and provides specific instructions to follow. If you don't see specific instructions there, then go to account.live.com and sign in there to look for the unblock instructions.
