    Please help me - Being harassed on XBL

    Someone is constantly sending me threatening messages and hitting me offline. He's sent me my own ip address to me in a message to try and scare me, I have valid proof that he's been threatening to get my account banned and I keep getting hit offline. Is there anything I can do about this if I can show someone the messages that he's sending to me? I have no problem giving an employee my information for them to see the proof themselves.

    Sorry to hear that you're unable to send messages. Let's have you
    power cycle     your Xbox One if you haven't already first. It might also be necessary to reset your router/modem as well.

    Unfortunately we cannot assist in account issues. This forum is for Xbox Live Rewards issues. You would have to contact Xbox support for issues with your Xbox Account.

    A silver membership can actually send/receive messages. They just can't play on Xbox Live or join a party.

    .

    As for why you can't send messages, I came up with the following reasons why:

    .

    - Your/Their account is banned

    - Your/Their Inbox is full

    - Etc.

    .

    What I recommend you to do is to contact Customer Support and have them look into your account as to why you are not able to send messages. This is usually not an error and a legitimate reason to why someone wouldn't be able to send messages.
