My account got recently stolen on October 4th,2015.I fell for a scam that required giving away my account information,such as,"getting a diamond camo on Black Ops 2."I was gone for 2 and a half weeks and didn't get the time to do anything to access my account.I
was able to change my security information and password.The group of hackers lost access on October 21st,2015.They did put money into it as if it was there's,but gambled for it.I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing to keep it,but I wont be able
to do anything until the 5th.The whole point of this forum post is for everyone to be aware of what you do on xbox live and to also keep your information updated.Because I'm not updated and your e-mail is important especially if you forgot the password like
I did.I had to put in previous xbox live membership codes I used and accurate private information(such as birthday,full name,etc).I did get access to my account,but I can't change anything until the 5th of November.I can access my account just fine from my
phone and computer,but not the xbox.The password I set can't be changed until that date.Sure my account was stolen from me,but the person who stole my account,stole other people'a accounts and even stole other people's accounts from my profile.They were sharing
my account for excessive gambling and scams.Be aware of gamertags with the name TJN or TK for the beginning word,such as,TK (word) or TJN (word),they steal accounts and hack games for a living.They told me not to get on for 2 hours,so I did as they told and
I couldn't log in.Their scam is false advertising,they did have the diamond camo,at level 7 which is impossible.That is how I fell for it,if your account was stolen by them,I am truly sorry.I witnessed accounts being stolen from them.And when I had access
on the 25th,I read the messages they only stole one account from my account.I can't do anything about it sadly.I'm not the smartest person and I made the mistake to give out my information,but if you forgot your e-mail password like me,it's important to keep
those Xbox Live Memberships you buy from GameStop or somewhere else.Without those,I could have lost not just my account,but all the downloaded content that I bought from hard earned money from my job.That is all I have to say about this.

Harmonix may have lost sales through limited avaiabilty, but you have to take into account the money that harmonix got from MS to secure the exclusive. I bet that little wdge helped to secure the Beatles exclusive that they have got which will be a nice little earner for them at $250 for the full mystery pack.

 

Xbox Live Security Check

Security is kept on the xbox in case people lose their accounts or are being hacked. It is something good that is on xbox.

 

Sorry to hear what happened to your gamertag. Please be aware that you should never, ever give out your personal information to someone else. No matter how good an offer sounds. Giving away your gamertag details is against the ToU and CoC of the Live
service and could result in the gamertag being banned.

Also, be sure that you don't name and shame on the forums. Even a partial tag name is against the ToU of the forums.

In the meantime, I would definitely recommend contacting phone support and reporting the issue with the tag to hopefully prevent future issues with it.
