Account- revoked communication and online gaming.

Microsoft should remove the suspensions. We are gamers and will use foul language when the game play is hyped. Having our communications temporarily revoked or banned from playing online just because of the younger gamers is unfair for the adults. They should
at least place filters when searching for games which can be used at anytime to decide what kind of people you want to play with. If you have a lobby where its only adults the language would not matter and your reputation will not get affected because mostly
everyone will get along. Microsoft should also place filters, unless its required to be done by the game developers, to be able to search a lobby with only gamers using a mic.

If it is labeled a communication suspension, this suspension blocks an account from accessing any communication features on Xbox Live, including text messages, voice messages, video communications, Skype on Xbox One, in-game chat, and party chat.

I am having the same issue I was not even online my nephew was on my account all day and I just got home and saw a message saying : your access has been revoked due to bad behavior for more information, visit http:// enforcement. Xbox.com

 

As an adult, i don`t want to hear your foul language either.

People play games for fun, not to hear foul mouth abuse from strangers.

If you want to use bad language play with your friends, you are less likely to get reported.

Some language maybe appropriate at some times, Abuse is not wanted by anyone.

Ambassadors should know better, JMHO.

 

If you want to voice your concerns or ideas, the Xbox Feedback site is a great place. Just make sure you're posting positive contributions ― complaining is frowned upon.

 

I'm not complaining. I am just saying they should have filters for gamers who use foul language often, due to rage, that way people don't get offended. And even if playing with friends it is still Xbox Live which consists of other random players. And as
adults we know there are many adults who use foul language. I'm not saying the filter will be for everyone that's why my suggestion is an optional filter for those who use the language and enjoy talking to people who use it in a fun way where no one gets offended

 

I am not suggesting it as an ambassador but as a Gamer.

It's called the mute button. Find it, use it.

 

Why use foul language in the first place? It is something that there is completely no need for.

There are plenty of other words in the dictionary.

 

The mute button is not effective because the people that report gamers should just mute the people using foul language, but they don't. And not everyone knows words from a dictionary. Not everyone has the same level of knowledge. I am only suggesting a
filter to be used for the ones who like the foul language, that way the people who don't want it don't have to use the filter or can filter out foul language lobbies. It is not a big deal to have lobbies where gamers get along using foul language.

 

If you can`t play a video game without controlling your raging and foul language, then you need a new hobby.

xbox live should not have to adapt to your problem, you need to solve it yourself.

 

Its not whether you can control the rage it just makes it fun and interesting for some people. Im not saying everyone will do it but it seems some people dont understand when I say the filter is not meant for all gamers. If you disapprove of gamers who use
foul language then you should be supporting the idea of a filter so gamers who dont want it can stay out of lobbies that have that.

 

Interesting suggestion but from my point of view hearing people swear and curse is not fun or interesting for anyone aside from the person or persons doing the swearing.

If you find that fun then perhaps the solution is to use the party function?. Then you can invite like minded people into your party. The rating/content of a game is inconsequential really.

I generally don't even use a mic anymore due to users being abusive to others.

Filtering lobbies for people who swear is not going to happen. The rules are the rules and no one should be subject to profanity/derogatory comments etc while using a service they pay good money for, or even for free for that matter.

Reporting people who behave like this is exactly the right thing to do. Then hopefully no one else need listen to them in the future.

As I say perhaps invite people to a party.

 

Ditto. A occasional slip is not going to bother me, or most others I would guess, but constantly being barraged by F-Bombs, homophobic gibberish, racist innuendo, or tasteless rants, gets on ones nerves. I mostly just "mute" said offenders, though if someone
is particularly nasty...reporting can be therapeutic sometimes; haven't felt the need yet on the X1, but there is another C.O.D. being released soon! Lol.

As others have mentioned,"perhaps invite people to a party"?
