Yes. As long as you can verify you are the owner of the account they can get you the email for the account.

You do not need to delete your old gamertag, However you do need to log in with the windows live ID associated with the gamertag you now want to use. If you are trying to change your gamertag to a new one then it will still be the same account only with
a new handle (gamertag). Have you played Modern Warfare 3 or Black ops with any gamertags? You also might want to check out the support forums for Call of Duty Elite!
