Account restoration - stuck with birthdate

Since two days i couldn't log into my account while my two other accounts just work perfectly fine. Xbox live works fine. The error code doesn't even exist. thx for that.

No hard restart worked so i erased the account in order to restore it. Now it asks me for my mame(ok no problem) and date of birth. I can't get past the day, i tried every button, i tried an external usb keyboard. I can choose a day, but no months no year
i can't get past that. Any ideas?

Yes, he can. If you don't want any restrictions on his account, you an either....

1. Make an account for him but make sure the birthdate age is over 18.
2. Put his real birthdate when making an account, but you'll be the one to control it. You can customize parental settings to however you want.

So yes, you can remove all restrictions.

My Backup account is stuck as a child account

I just recently made a backup account on my Xbox One, but the account is stuck as a child account even though the birthdate is over 18 years old. Please help

maxi003mus, I know that my question can be silly, but, did You tried to login to Your account at Xbox site? If so, please check if Your birthday is entered correctly and if not, enter it.

If the birthdate listed on the account 18+? Remember that changing the birthdate on account.microsoft.com does not change the birthdate on the Xbox account

While you may be able to change the birthdate shown on your Microsoft account profile, the Xbox account birthdate cannot be changed. The date that was entered when the account was created will always be the birthdate of the Xbox account. The Xbox account birthdate cannot be changed.

thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Unfortunately, once you create an account with a birthdate that date is set and unable to change it.

Another option would be to fill out the Age
verification form.You cansubmit proof of age by filling out theAge verification Request.

After submitting this form, you’ll receive confirmation and follow-up emails. Instructions on how you can monitor the status of your request will be included. Please do not submit multiple requests. You can expect an email response within
3 days.

Also you can create a new account with the Birthdate you want. Then you can use the child account for your child if they will be playing.

Changing your birthdate on account.microsoft.com does not change the birthdate on your Xbox account. The birthdate on your Xbox account is permanent. There is no way to circumvent this restriction.
