    When Call of duty blacks ops 3 the beta came out I changed my region to brazil like a lot of other people did because it wasn't downloading, but no w I don't know how to change it back to UK as all my achievements and other things on the Xbox are now in
    Spanish. please could anyone help me with this issue

    Account region issue

    I just got a used XBOX 360.
    I live in Cyprus, where XBOX Live is not supported, so i decided to choose UK as my country (did the same with PSN). I was planning on topping up my account with pre-paid cards.
    I managed signing up for XBOX Live trial and i also purchased 4 codes for Gears of War games from ebay. I managed redeeming the first one (using a VPN on my PC) and initiated the download on my console, i left it downloading and went to sleep.

    Today, i couldnt find the game in my games list. I went through the purchase history, the game was there, but the Play option just redirected me to the "My games" section. So, i decided to download it again, assuming download was interrupted somehow. And around 80% download stopped and i didnt see any error message (i might have missed it). But after some google search, i found out it has something to do with the region (probably my actual IP is d

    So, anyone has any ideas how to resolve this mess?

    How can I equip a gift card amount on the Xbox store ?

    You need to switch your account over to a US address and region, and then you should be able to use the amount from the US gift card on your account. Once you're done just switch everything back and you'll be back in your region with the game.

    OK the thing is if It was because you were getting 8015017 error typical of treyarch games

    Then changing your region to not the same as your actual regjon will prevent you from redownloading the game

    For the best experience within xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region

    Regional locked contents doesn't transfer between regions

    You would have to use them region. Migrations tool to change you're region but as mention you would forfeit region locked content

    You can't "accidently" change region.You are asked several times if you are sure you want to change region before you actually do it.You will have to wait 3 months like everyone else.

    Some content are region-locked, meaning you won't be able to download them.

    So you will need to make an Australia account and purchase Australian Microsoft Points in order to download the region-locked content.

    You can still use your UK account, but only if they don't have any regio locks on the content.

    Hi WarKnight13,

    Sorry for the trouble you are having. According to Xbox, you can only change/migrate your region once every 90 days.

    So after the 90 days is over, you will be able to migrate your profile region back to Brazil. We don't recommend you migrate your account unless you are actually moving, but I'm glad you were able to enjoy the gift from your friend, that was very nice
    of him.
