Okay,

First of all let me thank all of you for showing interest in my problem and maybe helping solve it.

So here is what bugs me.

In 2011/12 I created an account on my Xbox after playing for 2-3 years I moved on to the PC. Stupid as I was as a kid I never completed those security confirmation thingies ... I always dismissed them... Just recently I bought GTA 5 for my PC via Steam and
while installing I remembered that I still have my Xbox + Account and could link that steam copy with my old Social Club account via Xbox connect. And as I was trying different combinations out, in order to login to the Microsoft account I noticed that the
email I used is non accessible due to the Mail Provider "shutdown". After a few tries I finally remembered the combo and managed to login, at least to the point where Microsoft told me that my account has been locked because they believe someone else that
is not me is using it. Okay I'm gonna skip a few things to shorten this post a bit.

Point is the automatic Account Recovery didn't help me and the support (Hotline) as nice as they are didn't do anything either.

You might ask yourself now: "If that didn't help what do you have to ever hope to get the account back?"

1. I still have the Xbox where I created the account on. ( Console ID/Serial Nr. everything you could need from the console itself)

2. The profile itself is still on said console

3. I remember a lot of games I bought while using that account

I probably know more about the account than I remember right now. I hope someone of you can help me I'd really want to get my account back. Yes it is intentional that I didn't mention the account name once. Thanks for reading!

Microsoft Account Hacked

So yeah, my account was hacked by Russians. They spent about $300 on NCA17, which I don't play. Now I have to wait up to 3 days for the account recovery team to call me. May want to change your e-mail and other passwords in case it's going on elsewhere.

Hi there. Normally when a Windows Live Id becomes blocked or invalid they will appear greyed out under Account Management on your console, unfortunately you will not be able to change the email address yourself and it would be a good idea to contact the
xbox support line.

You can't sign in to the Live ID itself? Are you able to sign into your gamertag on your console? If you can't sign into it, it may have been compromised, and to change your WLID tied to your gamertag, you need to be able to log into it (on your 360).

If you think your gamertag is still on your friends Xbox, take a USB stick to his place, and move your gamertag from his Xbox onto the USB stick.

In future:

Only use "Recover Gamertag" as a last resort. Instead, you can leave the account the USB stick, and use it on whatever console you want. You won't have to wait to recover the gamertag, you can play straight away.
Never rely on your friend to delete your gamertag from his Xbox. He may want to "play a joke" on you, and think it's funny to mod your account so it has a bright pink Avatar. He may find it funny, but YOU will be the one who
has to lose your account, as well as everything you have bought on it, NOT HIM. You alone are responsible for what happens on your gamertag. You have already had a GS reset, so you may have already experienced this. BTW more than one GS reset=Perma-ban.

The fact that your account say you were online playing Fifa 11 only 4 minutes ago show the account is still being used. If that is not you playing it, that proves my above point again.
