    My son entered his Minecraft account information incorrectly too many times and the process to reset has been so frustrating! I request a code be sent to ANOTHER email address which I then use but then I have to submit historical information that he/we cannot recall. Is there another way to unlock his Minecraft account? They just migrated from Mojang to Microsoft and this is in the transition. There is an automated response that does not allow for any follow up since I have no idea what is incorrect. I appreciate the guidance.

    The enforcement team do not use the forums. Since the account was banned 5 years ago, there would not be a way to contact them about the ban. There is nothing else that can be done.

    Yes, the limit is 2 times per day.
    I can advice you try each day with more detailed info or try changing the info you provide mate

    Thanks Josef for responding so quickly! We have been trying the https://account.live.com/acsr method for two days and have been unsuccessful (sufficient information has not been provided, etc). It is being suggested that we create a new account. Would we then be able to access Minecraft (current) or no?

    We tried to do the recovery form twice today and apparently there is a limit on attempts SMH.

    Sadly, an account cannot be recovered with the gamertag alone.
