Account Recovery Question

So I haven't had access to my PC for a few months now and I've recently tried to log into my minecraft account and it didnt work. I checked my microsoft email and it shows that the email has been changed so I'm assuming someone has gotten access to my account and changed the login details.

When this happened to me a few years ago back when it was mojang accounts instead of microsoft accounts, the mojang team could verify that I owned the account because I was able to provide payment information directly to mojang. I gave them the last 4 numbers of the card I used to buy a minecraft account, the expiry date and the 3 numbers. I was wondering if this would still be possible? I'm not sure if I still have the confirmation email since I bought my account 6 years ago, but I can provide sufficient card information like last time.

If someone changed the data you originally had as your primary email, it will be very difficult for you to get your account back.

I am so sorry you are having issues recovering your Xbox account.

It is not possible to have more than one Xbox account to an email address as they are intrinsically linked.

The best place to start is to search through your information to find connected emails. You can do that here: [https://account.live.com/username/recover] by inputting related data.

Once you have created a portfolio of connected accounts, you can try to recover them individually.

Please keep in mind, it is not possible for a Microsoft agent to recover an account for you. It must be done with the prompts given when you attempt to sign in.

yes it will work, you just have to select the iCloud as your storage device once you recover your account to the other xbox

So when it asks for the device Id the profile has to be already signed into the Xbox or would i be able to put in the device id of an Xbox it used to be on
