    I have tried for the last 8 months 2 times a day filling out all of my details to the automated account recovery and it still isn't working. I'm not sure what to do at this point, do I really give up on all of my things and let it all go? Why can't a company this big do the right thing and have an actual working system for account recovery? I can't even talk to a real human about my situation because I'm redirected to an automated system that doesn't even work. I would love to have my account back but I'm not sure what to do at this point....

    Well you are going to have to keep working with them ot attempt an account take over ayyempt after 3 tries

    2 things it's best to do the report with a previously connected device that used the account

    Also if you are failing at account recovery they are looking at original info on the account not changes literally stuff only the owner should know

    These are set in stone set by privacy and data laws

    I've given every bit of information they requested (DoB,location etc) short of the password (which is why I'm trying to recover the account to begin with). Am about to fire up my oldest laptop I could find so hopefully that might have some connection/info but doubt it.

    At this stage I'm going to have to create a new account as I've been trying for the past 4days (so 8 attempts) and no luck

    As you.been already told they can only give it to the accoumt owner

    If you are failing it us because you are failing at core info that MUST match

    And no they can't tell you what you are getting wrong

    That would give you unlimited chances to phish
