Account permissions

getting message on games that says this Xbox live account does not have Multiplayer privileges. This is my the account that I have the live account through. It is listed under my subscriptions. Next bill date is listed as 8-18-17. Have restarted console.
What is my next step?

One of my most anticipated Xbox One features never works.

Try accessing your account through the parent account in Settings to see if you can adjust your permissions. This does sound like a permission issue.

multiplayer issues

Thanks. The next thing to check would be permissions. Does your account have the permissions set to allow others to join your games? Are the other peoples permissions correct?

If you are using and Xbox Trial code, please not that this does not include multiplayer privileges

If not, it might be worth checking to see if you have any Enforcement actions (bans) against your accounts: Xbox Enforcement

I will try again later once that is fixed, but while I still have your attention are there any other things I can try?

I have already done that to resolve a permission issue with minecraft several weeks ago, I only encounter this permission issue with my xbox account, not the overarching microsoft account.

If you have already been removed from the family you need to log out of the Xbox app and the Microsoft store app, that should be enough but sometimes it isn't so you can add changing your privacy settings here

In the third column change the programming configuration, it is probably already in standard, change it to familiar, save the change and then to standard again and save again

After this, log back in the Microsoft store app and Xbox app
