Hello;

About six years ago, I acquired a xbox 360, creating an account with a gamertag (angelgreg) and Linking it to my microsoft account. The usual stuff.

Unfortunately, after a memory card problem; I lose access to this account ; I never thought of going for the account online; I just played on my console offline. That was not a big deal so.

I wanted to connect the thing now; i was curios about the online gaming on my xbox. This old account is no longer accessible to me ! I can't synchronize my current data with my account. I can't dowload the old account on the website to put it on my memory card
...

So, i change the gamertag on the profil i currently use (knakuno) and synchronize it, I wanted to transfer my new gamertag to my main microsoft account.

But the thing is not possible on my console; cause there is already an xbox live account in microsoft account ; Which is logical.....

So I would like to delete the xbox live account (angelgreg) linked to my main microsoft account ; But nothing tells me how to do it!

Could you help me ?

Hey angelgreg! To get the gamertag you will need to
change the original account's gamertag to free up the name you want. Once that is done, the second account will need to be changed to the gamertag you want. There isn't a way to reserve a gamertag so when you change the original account, anyone can register
that name if they do it before you. Thanks!

Yeah, ok, but i can't do that. The second accound i have already have the good gamertag name. So, if i change the first, i can't pick this one .... can't i just delete my gamertag on my account ?

To be sure, the second gamertag, the one i'm using right know, is on a different microsoft account.
