account needs updating

    Hi,

    So, i visit my account today to see that it still "needs updating before a deposit" and even though i have been waiting nearly 2 YEARS for one, like others for this issue to be resolved, i understand there is a "team" working on this issue.

    However. At the bottom of the page where it used to say with a big red light, needs updating, it now has a green light and everything is ok.

    But, its not ok.. so am i to guess the system set to mask the broken system is now broken?

    One other thing i would like to ask is who is this external team looking at this issue? As they are looking into private billing information i feel this should be disclosed?

    Can i have a deposit please? Many thanks. Again.

    it says I need to update my details to be able to get my rewards deposited but they are up to date? Please help I've been trying for ages now?!

    Hello dreday84,

    It looks like when we attempted to deposit into your account, you had recently purchased using a different regional currency. Therefore, when we attempted to deposit the regional currency associated with your Rewards Account into your Microsoft Account,
    it raised an error since your Microsoft Account was still configured to an alternate regional currency. I see now that you are back to using the regional currency associated with your Rewards Account, which should allow your next deposit to complete successfully.
    Please keep in mind that using multiple regional currencies can cause these deposit errors to occur, which is why we only track and reward one regional currency.

    Hello vDv,

    There was a brief period of time while we were disabling another notification on the MyRewards page in which all notifications were temporarily suppressed. You should now be seeing the correct notification for your issue.

    There is no external team looking at this issue. Since the problem is with your billable account information, an internal team is examining the problem. At the current time, they have not yet provided us with their resolution. Apologies for the inconvenience.
