Account Name Banned?

Recently my account has had my gamer name taken away for no reason. I thought it would be cool to have a latin name of an animal, and the next thing that I know it is taken away.

I got a great Gamertag, but now i cant play my 360 games on backwards compatible. Wat do?

So with Microsoft allegedly releasing all of those names into the wild, me and my friends looked for cool, OG names. I was able to get the name Vyper, but ever since I changed my name I haven't been able to play backwards compatible games. I would load the game and it would tell me that I needed to re download my account to be able to play, but when I tried to re download it it tells me "Sorry, this profile can't be downloaded. Original Xbox Live accounts aren't supported anymore. Create a new account instead." Was I actually able to get an OG name, but Microsoft still thinks its an old account, or am I doing something wrong?

Hey I've contacted this account many times, this account is completely inactive and has never had a game in theres no rep no zone and I was wondering if it could be taken down. Thank you.

sorry but forced gamertags changes occur when it violates the code of conduct. If the item is controversial it is a violation of the code of conduct

sorry when an account is banned the name is no longer usable meaning you cannot change another account name to the banned name as it is no longer available.

When they ban an account, they ban the account under the current gamertag name. Even if you were able to delete the account, the name XcaliFlawz would still banned. That gamertag is forever forfeit. If they banned your gamertag, then let you have the name
back, what form of punishment is that?

You don't get a account perm ban unless you had multiple name change violations or something more serious

No, I can change my gamertag. My account isn't permanently banned, but the option to share my real name with people is.

Afraid not.

Gamertags are not made available on demand.

As of last year,if a gamertag does not log in for 5 years then it is made available although i'm not sure whether that applies to banned gamertags.
