Account Migration, Xbox Live Rewards and Billing Issues

Past a few years, i joined Xbox Live, by the time I had a US account. Then I've joined the XBL Rewards and won some US$ on it.

After sometime, came the migration process, and i changed my account to Brazil.

By the time, we had an advice that everything was gonna be set in the new region. Billing included. Even had a warning to spend the remaining dollars cause i wouldn't be able to use them later - which i followed, letting behind a a little more than US$ 1.

By February 2015, i was able to get some point on Rewards and proceeded to deposit.

I've got problems with deposit (and seems like a lot of people had, but after a few weeks and lots of forum visits I finally had it).

Everything would be ok now... except by the fact that the deposit was made to my US account.

Despite the fact that we had a warning that by changing our region we would be changing our billing info, somewhere, somehow, someone or something didn't got it.

On rewards forum the official answer was to opt out from the program and rejoin it 48 hour later, so it "learns" that i'm using a brazilian account now. But what happens to the few dollars that were mistakenly deposited on the US account? Are they gone forever?

It's just a few, but that few is our reward for playing, buying and answering stuff. Just a little more than US$ 4,00, but for me, it's worth claiming it since I feel like there was a problem that I may be not the only one to go through. And after all the
support calls, posts in forum and tweets, i feel a little bit frustrated that, in the end, i'm unable to recover this reward.

I forgot to say that I did it and then told to look for this with Billing support since that's not under the Xbox Rewards topics.

As I said, my problem is related to the account/billing mismatching after the migration, that shouldn't have happened since the migration process, as stated, would change the billing too.

 

You will probably need to contact billing via phone support for you region.
