Account migration to China

Hi, I recently brought my Xbox back with me to China (I'm originally from the UK, just working here now) I saw that you could migrate your account and chose to do so use the live account migration tool. However it turns out I can't set my console to be
in the Chinese location (I assume for government reasons). So right now my console's location is set to UK but my live account has been migrated to China. Will this cause problems for me? I want to change it back but it says I can only do it every three months.
Is there a way round this or do I just have to wait?

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for clarity concerning this mix up with your console's region. I can totally see how this could be pretty confusing and distressing. Unfortunately, what you posted is true, if you have already changed it, you would have
to wait 3 months to be eligible to change it again.

I just took a further review over that page and
supported regions, and China is among them.

There might be other reasons why it can't move over, but, for that, I would recommend reaching out to Official Support.
You should get local options if you log in, as your account is set to the right region, it's just the console that has the issues.

Yes, this could cause issues. It would allow your account to purchase games, apps, and media, that theoretically your console couldn't play. I don't have all the answers, as I've never gone through the process myself, but

How do I pay off that balance if my account has been locked down? How do I migrate my account? Currently china is availabe for account migrate.
